An emerging design trend is returning to the use of wallpaper. Lots of us have always been fans and followers of older historical papers, screen prints and murals. Today the trend is to consider paper as another way to add interest and texture to your walls, just one wall, or even your ceiling. One wall can sometimes create that Drama Wall your room needs for personality, other times enveloping the room in a print creates a wrapped feeling for the look and comfort of the room. You can use molding and wallpaper behind a bed to create a headboard look.

Using wallpaper on the ceiling creates drama, interest and just plain WOW factor. This part of a wallpaper project is best left to a professional. If you want to DIY-it, rent scaffolding from a local rental business, it runs about $125 to $200 for 2 day rental, and they usually will deliver and set up for a slight additional charge.

Both of these ceilings are really spectacular, paper can be a pattern or just a texture, shiney or matt, but it will be admired by everyone entering the room.
