Contemporary Home for Today - Singapore

Colonial home in Singapore, rennovated by Ong and Ong, an international architectural and design firm.

This home is on Blair Drive on a wide trapezium shaped lot.  The windows have built in wooden louvers for privacy and light control.

The original home was designed with a central courtyard which was redesigned to feature a swimming pool with garden area that can be seen through floor to ceiling glass.

Architecture and Interiors by Ong-Ong, Singapore

The use of wood and windows make the home, which is on a small lot, still feel like it is surrounded by nature.  The colors inside, including the greens contribute to this design.  This is a contemporary home that is built to have a warm, welcoming feel.

Using marble in a neutral color allows the greenery to show thru the beautiful windows.  Bringing
nature in always gives a home a serene look.

The architecture of this Singapore home is timeless and and will give the homeowners a fresh design palate for this home.

The architectural firm of Ong and Ong has offices in 11 cities, and you can see their portfolio of work on their web sited:    https://www.homestratosphere.com/ongong-59-blair-road/
